Mont Joye (French, late 19th/ early 20th century). An Art Nouveau glass decanter hand painted with enamels depicting perched yellow, brown, white and black feathered bird perched on floral bud under a white poppy flower, gilt accented plants in background with large dragonflies on exterior of clear glass decanter or bottle. Faceted cut banding on cylindrical neck. Stopper with flattened disc form finial and remnants of gilt accented border. Marked on bottom with hand painted "G" and "19". Approximate height 10.75", width 5", depth 3". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Stopper and decanter with elongated as well as small included bubbles (under surface). Faceted banding around neck with a couple of small inclusions. Wear to the base as would be expected with age and contact with surface.
