French, late 19th/early 20th century. Louis XVI style walnut bergere having a cane upholstered back, arms and seat, raised on fluted tapering legs headed with patera blocks. The elbow rests back pillow and removable seat cushion in floral and aviary needlework. Height 36.25", width 27" (arm to arm), seat depth 21.25", seat height 13".
Overall very good condition. Chair is structurally sound with slight wobble noted possibly due to floor being not level. No damage or repairs noted. Scattered minor fading to caning. Needlework back and seat cushion are in very good condition with no stains, rips or odors.
