- Lot Description
French Louis Philippe style cherry wood veneer enfilade, buffet or server sideboard having a hinged and folding superstructure lifting to create two shelves, the rectangular case with molded top above four paneled cupboard doors opening to a adjustable shelved interior on plinth and block feet. Approximate overall height 59.5" (with superstructure raised), height of case 37", width 89.62", depth 26.5".
Condition
Wear commensurate with age and use. Some cracking to veneer, with areas of seam separation and patched repair overall. Some chips and losses, with some filled cracks. Interior is clean overall, with some expected wear. Top is very heavy to close. Sun fading - noticeable only when top is opened. Top does not stay open easily - very heavy, and needs to be stabilized. No other visible signs of damage or repair.
