French, Mid 19th century. French Napoleon III gilt bronze Cartel clock with opposing C-scroll and floral cresting over a convex porcelain dial decorated black Arabic hours and lilac minutes with pierced gilt hands, the sides and base decorated with molded rocaille ornament, set with pierced grillwork, the 8-day spring driven time and strike movement by "Vincent et Cie". Height 21", width 14".
