- Lot Description
Continental, late 20th century. A French Empire style mahogany and rosewood veneered pier table, having a shaped green marble top, over a conforming apron inset with a single sliding drawer, mounted with gilt metal ormolu, on two gilt metal shaped lion legs, with a mirrored panel, on gilt metal hairy paw feet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 37.325", width 50", depth 17".
Condition
Tarnishing to ormolu. Veneer is dry in areas, with some separation. Expected light surface scratching and wear. Paint residue to mirror. Some minor chips and abrasions. Drawer slides easily. No other visible signs of damage or repair.
