- Lot Description
French, 19th century. Large Aubusson hand woven tapestry with wide weave depicting a scenic landscape with trees (single red bird perched at top left), foliage, and pond or small body of water in the foreground in muted earth tones of brown, red, green and orange. Later machine tapestry tabs at top for hanging on rod. Apparently unsigned. Overall measures approximately 86.75" x 84.25".
