French, 19th century. Three drawer walnut wood stand with brass reticulated gallery around rectangular top with curved corners at front surrounding white and green marble top above three pull out drawers with inlaid borders surrounding shield and swag form escutcheons. Shaped apron ormolu mount at center and trailing accents on rounded stiles, overall supported on four cabriole legs at front, ormolu mounted toes. Approximate height 30.9", width 23.5", depth 14.75".
Structurally sound. Chamfered angles on front of case are not aligned (slightly visible in image 1). Piece has been restored. 2 drawers have been replaced. Stand has new drawer blocks & runners. Locks have been replaced--evidence of larger catch holes. Key is present. Evident vertical crack to marble top (see image 9). Brass gallery is bent in a few areas. Areas of exposed wood & areas of scratches, commensurate with age.
