French, late 19th/ early 20th century. A collection of four diminutive hand painted enamel vases of baluster form, each with a single courtly figure standing in a landscape, one with English sterling silver collar (Henry Manton, Birmingham, date mark for 1899). Three vases signed to side, one "Hern", one "Apec.", and one "A. Leo.". Tallest vase approximate height 2.25". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Far left vase in overall image with light wear to bottom commensurate with age and shelf use. Next to the left with minor loss to bottom edge exposing copper and light wear to gilt. Second from right in overall with wear to bottom edge with enamel losses exposing copper base. Far right vase with pink enamel on sterling at top rim, wear to enamel at bottom exposing copper. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
