Moser (Bohemian, founded 1857), circa 1930s. A fine glass aquatic vase, globular in form, with acid cut pale lavender and unusual Alexandrite coloration to the base decorated all over with aquatic sea life in the forms of sea horses, and assorted fish swimming amidst plant life. Faint acid etched "Moser" signature to the base. Approximate height 7.5", diameter of mouth 3.25". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Overall good condition. Photos show a more a pinkish hue. As with old Alexandrite glass this vase is lovely light blue in artificial light. Because vase is acid cut, it is difficult to tell if there is damage to the fish or plants. One small fish might have a chip to mouth. There is a small chip to the rim of mouth. Scratches to the base as would be expected with age and contact with surface. Small included bubbles also noted. No repairs.
