- Lot Description
English/American, first quarter 19th century. A fine late Sheraton sideboard in cherry and mahogany having a D-shaped top above four beaded frieze drawers and a central pair of recessed cupboard doors flanked by a bottle drawer to each side, all cross-banded. The whole raised on turned, tapered and reeded legs. Approximate height 44.37", width 57.5", depth 24.12". From the Private Collection of Paul Pattek of Big Canoe, Georgia.
Condition
Wear commensurate with age and use. Top has been refinished, with large eater ot heat mark and some scratching and wear. Some looses to veneer and some repaired patches. Interior lining of drawers is dirty and stained and needs to be replaced. Hardware has been replaced. Upper small left drawer sticks. Right long drawer slides in too far. Some dryness/cracking to veneer. No other visible signs of damage or repair.
