Italian, late 19th century. A fine and impressive twelve light crystal and iron chandelier having a scrolled canopy with twelve volute scrolls mounted with tole leaves and hung with rosettes, beaded strands, faceted pendaloques and teardrops above an open cage comprising twelve scrolled ribs profusely hung with beaded chains, rosettes and teardrops joining the iron circulet and mounted with tole acanthus leaves hung with beaded strands and large faceted pendalogues, each scrolled end surmounted with a molded glass bobeche further hung with beads and issuing a simulated wax candlesleeve, the circulet also mounted with large rosettes hung with beads, alternating large and medium size faceted pendalogues, the whole terminating in a faceted ball drop.
