Chinese, Qing Dynasty Kangxi Period mark (1662-1722), likely 1st quarter of 20th century. A porcelain Jingdezhen ware baluster vase finely and elaborately painted in cobalt blue under the glaze to white ground with 60 lines of seal script calligraphic Shou (long life) characters, the slightly flaring foot, vertical mouth, and saucer rim each also with band of seal script calligraphic marks. Underside of vase with six character underglaze blue mark for Kangxi imperial reign within double concentric blue rings. Approximate height 17.5", diameter 10.5".
Under black light examination, no signs of fractures, cracks, restoration or in-painting. Light wear to bottom rim commensurate with age and shelf use. A few small scattered glazing imperfections throughout- 3 visible on bottom. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
