- Lot Description
Fernando Botero (Colombian, b. 1932- ), "La Toilette"-1983, offset lithograph in colors on woven paper, pencil signed lower right margin, numbered "123/200" lower left margin. Figural lithograph print of a voluptuous nude woman seated on a bed fixing her hair, red camisole draped over her leg. Bedroom scene with fruit on the dresser and the woman's reflection can be seen on the right in mirror. Verso of sheet printed at bottom "Title: La Toilette", Date: 1982, Medium: oil on canvas, Size: cm. 143" x 119". Framed approximately 24.5" x 22". Sheet size approximately 15.75" x 11.75". Sight size approximately 14" x 11.25".
Condition
Overall in excellent condition. Examined out of the frame. Attached to backing mat board at top with two pieces of hinging tape. No apparent toning or mat burn. No apparent pin holes, tears, abrasions, creases, or losses.
