Feliciano Bejar (American/ Mexican, 1920-2007). "Magi scope" - 1982, reclaimed industrial parts and cut glass, signed and dated to lens. A sculpture composed of repurposed iron auto and industrial parts to form a tall shaft and mounted with a cut glass lens with 46 overlapping concave and convex circles that create magnified and altered images when peered through, the lens encircled by sawtooth iron ring. Approximately 38.5" tall, 14.25" wide, 4.25" deep.
Structurally sound. Retains a nice industrial finish with rust & grime. Glass is clear & shows no evidence of sickness. Glass with a few minor chips around edges, however, not distracting.
