- Lot Description
Chinese, Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period mark (1736-1795), likely 20th century. A finely hand painted porcelain brushpot decorated to interior, exterior, rim, and bottom with simulated pudding stone in tones of orange, the exterior also with four round cartouches each depicting a colorful landscape in one of the four seasons, winter, spring, summer, and autumn. Underside with gilt enamel six character archaic Qianlong imperial reign seal. Brush pot to a fitted linen covered box with dual lids. Approximate height 4.125", diameter 5.125".
