Russian, likely early 20th century. Faberge (Russian, founded 1842) style silver repousse dresser box with hinged lid. Hinged lid with repousse crowned crest set center with floral sprays and recaille amid scrolled foliates, side of box with leaved fronds and s scroll patterning, with gold wash interior. Stamped interior on lid with oval containing 84 zolotnik indicating silver, with head facing right indicating production after 1908; with additional oval containing indistinct maer's mark. Stamped on interior base with oval containing 84 zolotnik indicating silver, with head facing right indicating production after 1908; with additional oval containing maker's mark KF in cyrillic, likely for Karl Fabergй (Russian, 1846-1920). Approximate length of lid 4.25", width of lid 2.75". Approximate weight 186.8 grams.
Overall in very good condition. Mild surface scratches all over, none particularly notable. Edges of box with minor dings commensurate with light use, none notable. No apparent monograms or removals. Some oxidation to underside of box. No apparent pitting. Some polish residue and grime to interior corners and underside of repousse decoration. No apparent losses.
