Faberge (Russian, founded 1842) blue guilloche enamel pill box of circular form with hinged lid adorned with silver gilt eight pointed star with radiating lines surrounding circular medallion with Cyrillic text. Marked on interior edge of hinged top with Cyrillic mark for Faberge, an illegible obscured maker's mark possibly for Henrik Wigstrom, and 84 silver zolotnik assay mark. Diameter approximately 2.5".
Overall very good condition. Minor oxidation to the gilt center medallion. Lid opens and shuts easily. Hinge is bending slightly as would be expected with age and usage. Surface scratches to the bottom of the box commensurate with age. No chips, cracks or repairs noted.
