- Lot Description
Erte also known as Romain de Tirtoff (Russian/French, 1892-1990), "Pink Lady"-circa 1980, serigraph in colors on paper, pencil signed lower right, limited edition noted in pencil lower left "297/300". Modern figural print depicting a young woman at center standing in a pink striped halter dress with flowing skirt amid stylized puffy clouds rounded cherry blossoms. Framed approximately 39.6" x 31.75". Sight size approximately 27.3" x 20.4".
Condition
Examined out of the frame. Sheet not laid down, but adhered to front and back mat boards in various spots to top, bottom, left, and right edges. Sheet not removed from matting in order to preserve condition. Within mat perimeter, no apparent toning or foxing. Two long skinny vertical abrasions down right side of matrix - not distraction. Other scattered minor scratches or abrasions to matrix.
