A collection of signatures comprising of Elizabeth Cady Stanton (American, 1815-1902) signed "Elizabeth Cady Stanton, New York, Dec 16th 1879" by the American suffragist, social activist, abolitionist, and leading figure of the early women's rights movement, the signature accompanied with three signatures to verso of page, one after Thomas Edison (American, 1847-1931), William Dorsheimer (American, 1832-1888) signed "William Dorsheimer, New York Dec 2. 1877.", and one unknown signature inscribed "Yours very truly, Chas McMillan". All signatures clipped and individually mounted to a later sheet as part of a scrapbook. Stanton signature sheet approximately 2.375" x 5.25", overall sheet approximately 6" x 6.75".
