- Lot Description
Edna Wright Andrade (American, 1917-2008), "Silver Turn"-1971, serigraph (silkscreen), pencil signed lower right, titled and numbered in pencil lower left "SILVER TURN 14/35". Hard line op-art print with repeating geometric motif with circles half filled in white and metallic silver on black ground. Verso of work inscribed with "EDNA ANDRADE", "SILVER TURN 14/35" and "SILKSCREEN". Also with gallery label from Marian Locks Gallery, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with additional information on modern artwork. Framed approximately 29.25" square. Sight size approximately 28.75" square.
Condition
Item not examined out of frame. Light evening toning to sheet visible in white segments. No visible signs of holes, rips or tears. Small deceased insect trapped between print and glass. No signs of water damage or foxing. No other signs of damage, loss or repair. Very good to excellent condition overall.
