Attributed to Gorham Mfg. Co. (American (Rhode Island), 1905 - circa 1920. A leaded glass and iron table lamp attributed to Gorham, with domical shade having leaded glass with pinkish white water lily blossoms and green leaves against a swirling aqua ground. The Art Nouveau style iron base with green patination decorated with stippling, leafy foliage and sunflowers, two light socket with pulls. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 22.5", shade diameter 17.5". Note: Very similar lamp was exhibited in "American Arts & Crafts from the Collection of Alexandra and Sidney Sheldon," Palm Springs Desert Museum, California, and illustrated in accompanying catalog by Katherine Plake Hough, 1993, no. 33.).
Overall good condition. There are approximately 28 heat fractures/damaged segments. There are approximately 6 replaced pieces of glass. The heat cap has a couple of minor rim dents. The double sockets are both marked Knox.
