Karel (Karl) Palda (Novy Bor - Haida, founded 1888), circa 1935. Duck motif cranberry and clear figural art glass decanter set with central decanter in bird form with brass hinged head spout above blown cranberry body with clear wings tucked on back, seated at center of brass and glass stand with fitted holders for four cranberry glass liquor shot glasses. Top rounded brass handle engraved "Dr. W.A. Maguy". Stamped "AUSTRIA" on interior of bird's head near hinge. Overall approximate height 9.125", width 10.25", depth 8.7". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Minor tarnishing and brass loss or oxidation to head and stand (see image #3, #4, and #6). No chips, cracks or other damage noted.
