Early 20th century. Small salesman sample stained mahogany wood double door armoire with undulating cornice top above scrolled foliate frieze above two hinged and paneled doors with floral decoration that open to shelved storage within, shaped and pierced apron with urn and flowers at center, acanthus leaf encrusted knees, cabinet terminating on scrolled toes at front, rectangular legs at back. Approximate height 30", width 24.5", depth 13.8".
Structurally sound. Key is present. Lock is in working order. Scattered areas of prior wormwood damage. Scattered dings & scratches (see images 6 & 8), commensurate with age & usage. Interior with adjustable shelves. Minute chips to scrolling apron, however, not distracting or readily observable. Two holes to back of armoire, suggesting it was once hung on a wall.
