- Lot Description
David Westmeier (American (Kentucky), 20th century. A bulbous pottery vessel of ball form with small cylindrical neck to top, the body matte glaze in earth tones with incised, impressed, and scratched linear and geometric decoration to shoulder. Marked to underside "Westmeier" above other marks, possibly a date. Approximately 12.25" tall.
Condition
Small scuff on back of vase (white mark). Vase would likely benefit from light cleaning--some visible dirt and grime in recessed areas. Applied felt accents to foot to keep from scratching surfaces. Light wear to base. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
