- Lot Description
Salvador Dali (Spanish, 1904-1989) for Baccarat, a pair of "Castor and Pollux"-1973 crystal candlesticks, from an edition of 500, each in original Baccarat red boxes, marked with manufacturer's stencil mark and incised with Dali signature, one incised with "CASTOR 154/500 Baccarat Audouin", the other incised with "POLLUX 154/500 Baccarat Audouin". Each candlestick of modern sculptural form with sharp angled lines. Each approximate height 10.25", width 6.75", depth 4.75".
