• Lot Description
  Continental School (likely French). "Chien et Gibier"-1889, oil on canvas, signed and dated at lower left "A. Lambert 89", with label to verso CAMARO 01.49.46.10.82 0047 Paint 6124 Made In France", with additional label to verso 6124 Made in France", with inscription to verso "Chien et Gibier A. Lambert 1889 HC". Playful figural genre painting depicting barn scene with three small dogs, or puppies, playing in loose straw or hay near a basket containing a jug, red fabric and a game bird. Unframed approximately 18.25" x 22".
