- Lot Description
Continental, likely French, mid to late 20th century. A polychromed Neoclassical style recamier, having a rectangular form, with squared head and arm rest, the frame silvered and carved with an egg and dart motif, with rosette accented patera blocks, and six tapering, fluted legs terminating in arrow feet. Upholstered in beige fabric. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 35", width 68.5", depth 29", seat depth 26.5", seat to floor 19.5".
Condition
Wear commensurate with age and use. Some minor nicks and dings. Intentionally distressed finish, with minor staining and soiling to the fabric. No other visible signs of damage or repair.
