Group of two lidded wooden boxes with inlaid decoration comprising of a rectangular rosewood pen box with mother of pearl inlaid decoration on lid in the form of string inlay accented with circular rings in corners surrounding rectangular accent at center with incurvate corners and front shield form escutcheon, approximate height 2.4", width 9.6", depth 3.3"; and a small Tunbridge style box (20th century) with repeating star motif surrounded by geometric framing and bands, approximate height 1.9", width 5.1", depth 3.1".
Rosewood box with crack to bottom (slightly visible in image 6). Red paper lining is detaching from interior (see image 2). Missing screw to one hinge. Box has slight gapping & does not close firmly. No other chips or repairs. Tunbridge style box in excellent condition overall. No chips, cracks, or repairs noted.
