- Lot Description
Late 19th century. Collection of two canary yellow satin glass items with diamond quilted motif comprising of a bottle base with elongated tapered neck above rounded body surmounting a circular foot; and a rose bowl with scalloped rim of standard form surmounting a circular foot. Each unmarked. Vase approximate height 10.25", diameter of foot 3.125". Rose bowl height 3.2", diameter of foot 3".
Condition
Both items with scattered discolored abrasions. Both with extremely minor fleabites commensurate with age and material. Taller vase with untreated fracture to body, circular in shape with a diameter of approximately 0.5". Bowl with adhesive residue to underside; no corresponding damage noted; cleaning recommended. Each with surface abrasions to bottom; commensurate with shelf contact.
