Dedham Pottery (American (Massachusetts), 1896-1943). Collection of 8 pieces of Arts and Crafts movement pottery with hand painted blue figural rabbit decoration amid crackled texture comprising medium sized bowl, a small bowl, an almond shaped serving dish, a rectangular dish, a footed circular serving plate, an ashtray, a circular saucer, and a round plate. Most marked with blue mark on bottom, some with additional impressed rabbit mark. Medium size bowl approximate height 3.5", diameter 8.3". Ashtray diameter approximately 6.4". Almond shaped dish approximately 9.75" x 5.4".
Each piece of pottery is in good condition with no apparent repairs. Most pieces have minor firing pinholes, craters and glaze skips. The small bowl has pooling of glaze exterior at base above foot. Almond shaped dish with dense and numerous firing holes, noticeable chip to rim of foot and scattered fleabites to edge of dish. The rectangular dish has a chip to underside of rim and two small chips to edge of the rim. Staining to interior as well as pinhead size chip/flake. Ashtray with staining and chip to underside rim. Serving plate with pooling of glaze underside. Small chip/flake to interior. Round plate with a couple of minute flakes to the surface. Saucer has a small chip to rim with some glazing imperfections underside.
