  Collection of three Alan Meiers (American, 20th century) rural theme watercolor paintings, comprising "Crossroad"-1944, watercolor on paper, signed and dated at lower left "Alan Meiers '44", depicting a pastoral railroad scene with two figures pushing a cart on the tracks, with farmhouses in the distance and blue skies overhead, verso with graphite inscription "Crossroad Alton at Fell Ave Normal July 11, 1944 Alan G. Meiers"; "Near the Dam", watercolor on paper, signed at lower right "Alan Meiers", depicting a quaint autumnal village scene near a dammed lake or river; "Old Saw Mill"-1946, watercolor on paper, signed and dated at lower left "Alan Meiers '46", depicting an old saw mill surrounded by lush, verdant foliage, verso with graphite inscription "Old Saw Mill Little Twin Lake July 1946 Alan Meiers"; "Saw Mill on the Water", watercolor on paper, signed at lower right "Alan Meiers", depicting lakeside sawmill with calm reflective waters, with blue skies overhead; and "Near Fox and Hounds"-1944, watercolor on paper, signed and dated at lower right "Alan Meiers '44", depicting pastoral hillside with wooden fence, farm houses and autumnal trees, verso with graphite inscription "On Clason Back Road near Fox and Hounds September 30, 1944 Alan Meiers".
