• Lot Description
  20th century. A collection of three grisaille oil on gessoed canvas paintings, each in the manner of 18th century French masters, comprising "Untitled (The Arts)", grisaille oil on gessoed canvas, apparently unsigned, figural painting depicting three cherubs or putti laying in a capriccio-like scene in the foreground, on with drawing board; "Untitled (Music)", grisaille oil on gessoed canvas, apparently unsigned figural painting depicting two cherubs or putti with sheet music and instruments; and "Untitled (Architecture)", grisaille oil on gessoed canvas, apparently unsigned, figural painting depicting two cherubs or putti examining architectural plans in capriccio-like setting. Each framed approximately 70" x 26.25".
