Japanese, 18th/19th century. Group of two similar but unmatched Kutani pottery bowls in 17th century style with fuku (good fortune or happiness) mark on bottom. One bowl with goat at center tondo under leaved tree surrounded by a spiral lappet border in bleu and white, exterior in peacock green with black spiral decoration throughout, (diameter of foot 3", diameter of opening at top 7", height 2.5"); and a deep bowl with two brown and green feathered birds or ducks in interior on dotted yellow ground within blue stylized waves further contained by panels with repeating diaper patterning in yellow, brown, green and blue, exterior in green with repeating floral motif (diameter of opening at top 6.75", height 3.75", diameter of foot 3".
Very good condition. Minor glaze imperfections. No noted damage or repairs.
