• Lot Description
  Claire Anne Khalil (American, b. 1944- ), "Spirits of San Marco I"-1988, hand colored etching on paper, pencil signed and dated lower right, titled lower center in pencil, noted as an artist's proof with "A.P" lower left. Whimsical print depicting St. George on horseback slaying the dragon, an angel floating within a triangle in white robe and St. Jerome with lion above Venetian architecture on San Marco. Framed approximately 19.5" x 19.3". Sight size of sheet within floating frame approximately 13.125" x 13.25". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Benno & Babette Rothschild, Columbus, Georgia.
