A volume of scarce first and early editions of the Romantic period piano virtuoso owned, signed, and annotated by Boston pianist Otto Dresel (American/ German, 1826-1890), the volume with black cloth bookplates with gilt lettering to cover listing many of the inclusions in the book, the book containing 15 opuses in a left side-stitch binding with many of the title pages bearing publisher's stamps and period retailer stamps. Book signed to first title page "Otto Dresel / Boston, November 1854", many of the later title pages also signed by the pianist, and many of the music sheets with pencil musical annotations.
