- Lot Description
Chippendale style mahogany camelback sofa having a serpentine arched back with scrolled arms, shaped seat rail with removable cushion, raised on square chamfered legs united by a recessed stretcher. Approximate height 35", width 81", depth 28".
Condition
Scattered spotting to upholstery, fading to upholstery from light exposure - most evident on the back. Legs and supports with scattered wood losses, most visible on front edges of legs. Some losses with later finish touch-ups. Backs of middle legs with light discoloration. Sofa stable and structurally sound. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
