- Lot Description
Chinese, 19th century or earlier. A Yuan Dynasty style pot or vase of tapering round form having constricted short ring with rolled rim neck, with underglaze blue dragon amid clouds motif, apparently unmarked. Approximate height 10.75"; diameter at mouth 7.75".
Condition
Wear commensurate with age and use. Large hairline crack to side, extending from the foot in an arc over the shoulder. Chipping and losses to enamel of rim and foot. Losses to enamel overall. Pooling of glazing to interior, with possible reddish/orange inpainting, glaze, or accretion throughout interior. Glaze pops throughout. No other visible signs of damage or repair.
