Chinese, Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period mark (1735-1796), likely early 20th century. A porcelain vase with bulbous body with allover hand painted abstract decoration resembling a cloudscape or fantastical landscape in tones of gray and orange on white ground, the vase with applied orange elephant mask handles to either side of shoulder, and with teal blue interior and underside, the round foot with rectangular apertures aligned below the handles. Underside with red underglaze Qianlong imperial reign mark. Approximately 13" tall, 11" diameter.
Overall very good condition. There are two intentional piercing to the foot (see image #4).
