Chinese, likely 19th century Qing Dynasty but possibly earlier. A Shang Dynasty style tripod footed censer of white stoneware, the censer of compressed bulbous form with incurvate neck and rounded lip and raised on three feet of pod-like form. Marked to underside with applied red wax seal, likely for Chinese export. Approximately 4.5" tall, 6.75" diameter.
Overall very good condition. Firing faults present along with crazing, commensurate with age. No repairs or damage noted.
