- Lot Description
Chinese scroll painting depicting flying dragonfly near a patch of flowers including lotus roots, pink flowers, and light tan large leaves. Calligraphic marks in black running vertically along left side of work above two red seal marks, additional mark lower right corner. Overall approximate height 81.25", width of wooden handle 24.75".
Condition
Numerous tape repairs throughout, including significant portions at top. Losses to edges throughout, particularly on left & right sides. Numerous tears & holes on surround. Rice paper with light toning, light creasing, and scattered dark foxing. Tape repairs to areas where silk surround meets handle & wooden support at top.
