Chinese, likely late 19th/early 20th century. Porcelain bottle vase with white rim at top of cylindrical neck above rounded body, overall in oxblood red glaze (sang de boeuf). Approximate height 16.4", diameter of opening at top 3.3".
Scattered craquelure throughout glaze. Bubbled glazing imperfections on bottom above foot. Light wear to bottom (with some scattered chips and nicks) commensurate with age and light use. Small surface scratches commensurate with light handling (not particularly noticeable). Under black light examination, no signs of cracks, hairlines, or repairs. No further damage or loss.
