- Lot Description
Chinese export porcelain garden seat of swelled hexagonal form decorated with hand painted enamels in rose medallion motif with cartouches with courtly figures and birds perched on branches amid pink peony flowers surrounded by scrolled green vines, flowers, leaves and fruit. Larger panels with butterflies, fruit and larger clusters within C scroll niches. Gilt rounded buttons on exterior for gripping. Pierced form throughout for air circulation. Unmarked. Approximate height 18.75", diameter of top 12".
Condition
Some gilt fading on the molded bosses and wear to the base - commensurate with age.
