Chinese, Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period mark (1735-1796), likely late 19th/ early 20th century. An imperial yellow Peking glass vase of bottle form with carved decoration in relief depicting a landscape scene with two figures on the narrow neck, one paddling a boat toward the other on shore, the bulbous section of vase with three shaped cartouches on tondo with birds on flowering branches accented with a lappet band at shoulder, the vase to a carved and footed round wood pedestal. Incised four character Qianlong imperial reign mark to underside. Without stand approximately 7.5" tall, 4" diameter at largest point.
Old repair at neck along the body. Small tight fracture on body. Paler shade at foot underglaze, possibly a result of pooling.
