- Lot Description
Chinese, 20th century. A watercolor painting on rice paper depicting a flower filled jardiniere or planter, the planter decorated with painted flowers, flanked to right by a smaller planter filled with ornamental grass, Marked to upper right with three lines of black calligraphic marks with three stamped seals. Overall approximately 85 1/2" x 10 1/8".
Condition
Wrinkling and creasing throughout work and surround from handling and rolling. Toning to sheet with scattered foxing throughout, heaviest at bottom below image, however also with scattered areas on image. Watermarks and damage at top above image with foxing. No signs of rips, tears or holes.
