- Lot Description
Chinese, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) . Famille verte porcelain charger with green and brown serpentine scaled five clawed dragons surrounded by cloud scrolls on yellow ground on exterior. Interior of center low bowl or charger similar motif at center tondo within floral border and more dragons and clouds on raised rim. Underside with six character mark within double circle, appears to be Kangxi mark. Diameter of charger approximately 16.5".
Condition
Charger with repair to chip on rim (approximately 5.5" at widest). Slight wear to bottom commensurate with age. Scattered grime would likely benefit from cleaning. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
