- Lot Description
Chinese export porcelain fishbowl with hand painted famille rose motif on exterior with pink flower and scrolled foliates on rim above green and yellow diaper patterned banding at top, lappet banding at bottom. Exterior with brightly colored precious objects such as a censer or incense burner with facial motif and other vessels, many with triangular tapered feet. Container with black and red calligraphic marks. Approximate height 13.8", diameter of top 15.5".
Condition
Manufacturing flaw at rim. Minor discoloring of porcelain. Scratches to the interior of bowl, commensurate with age and usage.
