Chinese, Late 19th century. Chinese export double handled porcelain cup with blue and white borders and expanses surrounding anhua decoration and medallions with courtly figures in Mandarin palette, body flanked by two white glazed C scroll dragon handles with subtle blue highlights, overall supported on a circular foot. Unmarked. Overall approximate height 3.8", width (across handles) 4.8", diameter of foot 2.1".
Overall with gilt loss to decoration, commensurate with age. Rim with extremely minor flea bites and one speck of discoloration, possibly original to piece. Interior with series of vertically oriented underglaze hairlines (see image 5), apparently stable. Handles with minor glazing imperfections. Handles with minor flake loss from dragon's form. Foot with scattered hairlines, stable and not particularly distracting. Underside with wear and minor flea bites commensurate with age and use.
