- Lot Description
Chinese, likely 18th C. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). A cloud form footed porcelain tray or tazza comprising tall flaring ring foot banded with blue and green stylized waves, with eight lobed diamond form body bearing bats and prunus fruit to exterior cavetto, the interior with quatrefoil tondo bearing a mystic elder seated in red robes flanked to left by a green box wrapped with red ribbon and inscribed to one pane with four lines of black calligraphy, and flanked to right by five lines of black calligraphic marks, the quatrefoil bordered by clusters of varied flowers on green stems. Unmarked. Approximate height 2.625", width 11.5", depth 9.25".
