Likely English, late 19th/early 20th century. Chinese Chippendale table of rectangular form with shaped top above carved apron with lappet, and entwined scrolled and foliate motif, C scroll spandrels and cylindrical shaft recalling bamboo. Table supported on three thin cylindrical legs (triple column) recalling bamboo with X patterned blocks joined by X form cross stretcher support. Overall approximate height 29.125", width 34.3", depth 22.9" .
Structurally sound. Surface scratches to tabletop; including one more significant scratch spanning approximately 12.5". Small abrasions to tabletop edge, more prevalent on one side. Scattered nicks, dings and abrasions throughout. Feet with abrasions and wear commensurate with use.
