- Lot Description
Chinese, late 19th/ early 20th century. A pair of carved ivory figurines depicting two of the Buddist Immortals, the female figure being Lan Caihe with locks of braided hair above each ear, a prunus fruit in one hand, and basket of flowers in other hand, approximately 7 1/8" tall including wooden stand; and the male being Lu Dongbin with fly brush in one hand as he strokes his long beard with the other hand, and sword to his back, approximately 7" tall including wooden stand.
Condition
Overall, very good condition. The male figure has minute chip to ear lobe.
